Allegations Shared on Instagram The woman, who also did not mention Rice directly, shared a set of images on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. She did say the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has kids with Rice, whom the team drafted in the second round. Police Reports Reportedly Not on File No police reports were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have occurred. Player's Prior Off-Field Troubles Rice was absent for the initial part of this season due to an NFL suspension for his role in instigating a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that resulted in multiple people injured. He was sentenced 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after entering a guilty plea to serious offenses. On the field, he finished the season with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five touchdowns as the Chiefs finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first time in a ten-year span.
