The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a Los Angeles Car Crash

The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in California aged 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a freeway in LA on Sunday, according to.
