The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer preparing for significant competition

This young athlete maintains considerable social media presence

Kai Trump can count on plenty of prominent backers when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns multiple international courses and often matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He basically suggested to go out there and relax," she continued.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the best player in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to compete, relax, following the flow."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to new audiences, specifically among youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and has started her own fashion and living brand.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
